Day1 of Sri Lanka Package with Maldives: Airport – Dambulla
Upon arrival at the Colombo Bandaranayake International Airport, you will be received warmly by our representative.
Your first visit will be to Dambulla. En route to your destination, you can visit one of the most important tourist attraction in Sri Lanka, the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Volunteers and caretakers provide shelter and take care of orphaned, abandoned and injured elephants within the park.
You can watch caretakers feed, bathe and help these gentle giants. You want to walk with the herd to the nearby river to watch the elephants bathe and play around in the water.
Dambulla is one of the ancient cities of Sri Lanka. The city also boasts to have the largest rose quartz mountain range in South Asia, and the Ironwood forest.
Ibbankatuwa prehistoric burial site near Dambulla cave temple complexes is the latest archaeological site found in Dambulla. Dambulla along with nearby Sigiriya and Habarana form a cluster of tourist area within it.
City tour:
Further, Your next destination will be the Dambulla Cave Temples. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple compound in Sri Lanka.
There are above 80 chronicle caves around this location. The most prominent allures are advanced over 5 caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are depicted to Lord Buddha and his life.
There are a total of 153 Buddha statues, 3 statues of Sri Lankan kings and 4 statues of gods and goddesses. (Entrance fees to sites not included).

Day 2 of Sri Lanka Package with Maldives: Dambulla – Kandy
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Today you will visit Kandy.
Your city tour will commence with the visit to one of the wonders of the ancient world -the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Sigiriya Rock was once an ancient Castle used both as a palace and a fortress and was created by the great King Kasyapa.
The magnificent rock fortress of Sigiriya is visible for miles from all directions and dominates the surrounding plain.
The Sigiriya Complex consists of the central rock, which arises abruptly 200 meters above the surrounding plain with the two rectangular precincts on the east and the west.
The rock is surrounded by two wide moats, where crocodiles were introduced in ancient times and three ramparts. The moats and walls that surround the lower palace are still exquisitely beautiful.
Lying amidst the hills, Kandy is the last capital of the ancient kings of Sri Lanka. While being the second-largest city in Sri Lanka it is also famous for its immense beauty and is named as one of the seven UNESCO declared World Heritage sites in the country.
With its luxuriant prairie, picturesque lake, longest river of the country and misty mountains, Kandy successfully mesmerizes every visitor unsurprisingly.
City Tour:
While on your city tour you will visit one of the world heritages as well as a sacred place for the Buddhists all over the world; namely the Temple of tooth Relic known to the Sri Lankans as Dalada Maligawa. The real evidence of the richness will be affirmed by your visit to the Gem Museum.
Sri Lanka produces the finest quality of gems in the world. Semi-precious gems, the sapphires of Sri Lanka, which are very exclusive and comes in shades of blue, red, green, white, etc. Later In the evening, you will witness a traditional cultural dance show. (Entrance fees to sites not included)

DAY 04 of Sri Lank Package with Maldives: KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA

DAY 05 of Sri Lanka Package with Maldives: NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA – NUWARA ELIYA

Ella is a small mountain village near Bandarawela and boasts three locations linked to the Ramayana where local legend claims Ravana was hiding Sita. First, there is the Ravana Ella Cave, located at the massive Ella Falls; a breathtaking 1080 feet high waterfall that cascades into several falls.
The rocky undergoes of the waterfall is Khondalite, a kind of limestone which undergoes faster decay as hard gneiss or granite.
This has resulted in many caves being formed near the falls. King Ravana is said to have lived in one of the caves above the waterfall. A nearby pool bored out of the rock by the gushing waters is where Sita is said to have bathed Ravana. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
DAY 06 of Sri Lanka Package with Maldives: NUWARA ELIYA – BENTOTA

DAY 07 of Sri Lanka Package with Maldives: BENTOTA – COLOMBO

Colombo is the largest city and commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Located on the west coast, it is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern and colonial impressions. Colombo has a wildly varying architecture that spans centuries and depicts various styles.
Many colonial buildings influenced by the Portuguese, Dutch and British exist alongside structures built in Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Indian and Contemporary architectural styles. No other place is this more evident in the heart of the city in the Fort area.
Colombo also boasts many shopping malls and department stores that offer brand name clothing at highly discounted prices.
Therefore, it has become an important shopping destination among tourists.
DAY 08: COLOMBO – AIRPORT – MALDIVES
After having breakfast, you will be dropped to the airport for your departure to the Maldives. On arrival at the Maldives international airport, you will be met and transferred by our local representative to your hotel by speedboat. Check-in at the Resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Unspoiled palm-fringed tropical islands with white beaches, turquoise lagoons, fantastic coral reefs, and marine life are only part of the appeal of the Maldives.

DAY 09 of Sri Lanka Package with Maldives: Island Beach Resort
This morning after breakfast, move out to explore the beautiful beach. The Maldives is a paradise for adventures and sports lovers. Go for water skiing, jet skiing, windsurfing, water surfing, snorkelling, sailing, and para sailing or enjoy beach volleyball and basketball. OR why not take our optional tours.
Enjoy an island Hopping tour or choose from a morning line-fishing excursion, big game fishing in a speed boat or a night fishing trip, finishing up with a barbeque at the resort to enjoy the catch of the day. Later in the evening return back to the resort for an overnight stay.
Day 10 of Sri Lanka Package with Maldives: Island Beach Resort
This morning after breakfast, take an optional tour and wander around Males National museum, located in Sultan’s park, which possesses a superb collection of artifacts, including Sultanese thrones and palanquins.
Another sight worthy to see is the beautiful century Hukuru- Friday Mosque, the Islamic centre topped with a magnificent golden globe.
Enjoy browsing through the fish and local markets. Later in the evening return back to the resort for an overnight stay.
Day 11 of Sri Lanka Package with Maldives: Male
We will head back to Male International Airport for departure back home, after breakfast.
