Day 1 of Italy Tour: Rome arrival.

First day at your leisure

Day 2: Rome: Choose from one of the 2 tour options.

Option 1:

Suspended between history and legend, myth and beauty, from Baroque to modern times, every age saw the Eternal City shining in its magic splendor. City Sightseeing Rome will allow you to travel through history and visit the places where the ancient Romans lived their social and political life as well as to admire the great Papal Rome, with its fine buildings and beautiful churches, by just sitting comfortably on board our buses.

You will be able to visit the many churches, monuments, palaces, squares and streets of Imperial and Christian Rome, of Baroque and Modern Rome. You can admire the great monuments of ancient Rome like the Imperial Forums, the Coliseum, and the Circus Maximum and you will see the most beautiful Christian places like St. Peter’s Basilica and Santa Maria Maggiore.

One must also visit the squares and streets where the history of Rome was written such as Piazza Venezia, Piazza Della Repubblica, Piazza del Popolo, and Piazza Barberini. Day 4 of Italy Tour: Naples:

After breakfast, board the morning train to Naples (Approx 1.5
hours journey).

Check in to the hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening proceed for Naples by night tour. Enjoy this panoramic tour of Naples and its sparkling lights. You will drive along the seafront to reach the Posillipo Hill to enjoy a wonderful view on the Gulf and the stateliness of the Castel Nuovo. Day 5 of Italy Tour: Naples:

Led by an official Pompeii tour guide – most of whom are trained archaeologists – you will wander the fully-preserved streets of Pompeii and visit the most interested and heart-wrenching sights from the city that was lost under the massive eruption of Mt. Vesuvius.

Your day starts with a visit to Pompeii. When we arrive in Pompeii, we’ll skip the lines and be met by one of our expert, English-speaking guides. As they walk you through the shops, temples, public baths, and houses that composed the thriving city, they’ll recount the fascinating stories of ancient life and how it was decimated by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. See how people lived nearly 2,000 years ago with stops at a Roman bakery, the Temple of Apollo, the Roman Forum, an ancient supermarket, and an old cemetery.

The tour will also visit the touching and eerie plaster death casts of unfortunate people caught in the eruption and. If appropriate for the group you’ll also step into an ancient brothel. The walk is capped off with a stroll along the city walls offering panoramic views of Naples and Capri.

Day 6 of Italy Tour: Florence:

After breakfast board the morning train to Florence (Approx 3 hours journey).

Upon arrival check-in, refresh and explore the locality in your leisure. In the evening, proceed for Florence Panoramic Sunset Bike Tour.

Day 7 of Italy Tour: Florence:

Day tour to Tuscany in a Vespa

Tuscany by Vespa for double occupancy: 1 driver – 1 passenger on the same scooter! Drive along scenic and silent country roads through the hillside of Tuscany on a typical Italian scooter admiring the sights smells and sounds of the Chianti region! You will be transferred from the city center into the Tuscan countryside.

On arrival, you will receive an orientation conducted by a trained professional ensuring the safe operation of the scooter before heading out for an engaging and enjoyable ride. You will drive in convoy along quiet and scenic country roads offering splendid views of the rolling hillside and visiting different small medieval villages in the
heart of Tuscany.

The ride, along scenic country roads, will offer splendid views of the rolling hillside, vineyards and olive groves, little ancient churches and medieval towers. Several stops for photo opportunities will be made along the way. You will
visit a famous winery and enjoy a guided tour of their ancient cellars, where you will learn all the secrets of wine and olive oil production. You will then be able to understand the different approach in winemaking as you also visit a fascinating family-run organic farm and winery.

A typical Tuscan lunch (or dinner, depending on which departure you choose) will be served with a wine tasting. And the official T-shirt (included) will always remind you of this incredible experience!

Day 8 of Italy Tour: Florence:

Day tour to Pisa.
Explore the architectural beauty of Pisa with a half-day tour from Florence.

We depart from Florence and head out through the picturesque Tuscan countryside to the charming city of Pisa. Famous for the Leaning Tower, Pisa has a lot more architecture and culture to offer visitors that is well worth spending time to discover.

Once we arrive in Pisa, your knowledgeable guide will lead you to the emblematic Piazza Dei Miracoli where they will regale you with the wonders of the square. Your eyes will be drawn to the Leaning Tower that you can explore from the outside as well as the exterior of the Baptistery and other striking monuments before we make our way inside the Cathedral.

After the guided tour, you have time to wander through the Renaissance piazzas dotted around the city, admire the mesmerizing architecture and soak up the vibrant atmosphere that pulses through this city. Also known for its leading university, Pisa will engage you with a distinctive local charm that resonates through its piazzas, palaces, and streets.

Day 9 of Italy Tour: Cinque Terre:

After breakfast, board your train to Cinque Terre. (Approx 3 hours journey)

Day 10 of Italy Tour: Cinque Terre:

After breakfast, proceed on Aperitivo Tour in Monterosso.
Great views, great food, great wine, and great stories, this tour has it all! Get a taste for both old and new Monterosso on this walking tour, before digging into authentic aperitivo at a traditional local cafe.

Your Cinque Terre tour will start out in the new part of Monterosso village, where there’s plenty of coastline and little rocky beaches to see. We’ll walk to the end of this area and check out the ancient statue on the rocks, called the Giant of Monterosso.

From there, we’ll continue to a spot that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and the coast of Cinque Terre. Trust us, there are beautiful views to be found here! From this point, we’ll continue along a short path that takes us down to the old area of Monterosso. We’ll walk through the narrow streets where the houses are brightly colored, and take a look at the old Genoese gothic church. Then, finally, we’ll grab a seat to enjoy our aperitivo! We’ll settle into a traditional cafe, where you can experience the best bites of local food, and sip wine produced in Cinque Terre.

While enjoying all the traditional flavors, the owner will share the local secrets behind what we’re eating and drinking, as well as a few good stories about Monterosso. Tour ends in Monterosso Old Town. Please wear comfortable shoes for walking. You will need to have your knees and shoulders covered to enter
the church.
Overnight at Cinque Terre.

Day 11 of Italy Tour: Venice:

After breakfast board the morning train to Venice Approx 5.5-6 hours journey). Upon arrival, check-in, refresh and proceed on a traditional Gondola ride/Motorboat ride. Admire the play of light on the water as we glide along the Grand Canal, the main street of Venice. See the beautiful and imposing palaces and churches that line the bank and learn how the Grand Canal has developed over the centuries into the most beautiful street in the world. In the second part of the tour, discover the more romantic and intimate minor canals to savor the true essence of Venice.

Day 12 of Italy Tour: Venice:

Half-Day to Murano, Burano, and Torcello (morning or afternoon)
Sail to Murano to see how the beautiful colored glass is made, then on to the
pretty islands of Burano and Torcello.

After sailing past the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the Public Gardens, the tip of Sant’Elena and the famous Lido beach resort, the boat arrives in Murano, known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing industry. Here we stop for around 40 minutes to visit one of the factories. The second stop is at the picturesque island of Burano, famous not only for its lace but also for the fishermen’s houses painted in bright colors. The stop will last about 30 minutes.

Then after a short cruise, we reach Torcello, the earliest center of civilization in the estuary. Only the Cathedral with its magnificent mosaics and the church of Santa Fosca remain as testimony of its former glory. The stop will be for about 30 minutes then we return to St.Mark’s Square. Tour ending times are approximate, as the tour might last
slightly longer at times, especially during the summer season.

Day 13 of Italy Tour: Departure

Proceed back home.
