Day 1: Addis Ababa
Arrive at Bole international airport and be welcome by an Ethiopian Holidays representative. Depending on your arrival time, you will be taken on an Addis Ababa City Tour, which will also include drinking coffee and experiencing the unique and traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony; from washing, roasting, grinding, smelling, serving and tasting coffee!
Additional Addis Ababa sightseeing City Tour stops will include Mount Entoto (first capital situated in hills overlooking Addis Ababa which means “New Flower”) and from where you can enjoy panoramic views. Day 2: Addis Ababa – Jimma – Bonga
Morning you fly to Jimma then, you set off for your drive to Bonga through the Kaffa region of Ethiopia; Kaffa is generally regarded to be the region from where the Arabica strain of coffee originated and also where the plant was first cultivated. After checking in to the hotel in Bonga, you then drive to the marvelous Tatmara coffee plantation where you will be able to experience and observe the whole coffee production process concluding with a coffee ceremony in this perfect Home of Coffee location!
Day 3: Bonga – Mankira – Jimma
Rise early in the morning to the smell of locally grown and freshly roasted coffee and savour the taste as you also enjoy a great breakfast. After breakfast, take an excursion to Mankira, which is the actual place where Arabica coffee was discovered. En route, you will visit the magnificent and ancient Adaracha Medhanealem Church and the Natural Bridge Gurguto/Egziher dildiy (meaning God’s bridge), which connects two distant villages. Then, drive back to Jimma.
Day 4: Fly back to Addis
Transfer to the airport and fly back to Addis. In the evening attend a folkloric dinner where you will have a chance to taste several national dishes and watch dances of the various ethnic groups of Ethiopia. The traditional coffee ceremony will also be served. Later you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.

Day 2: Addis – Lalibela
Early in the morning, you will fly from Addis to the UNESCO World Heritage Center and Holy city of Lalibela where you will be met for the drive up into town nestled in the hills above. The morning will be spent marveling at the well-preserved and awe-inspiring 11th-century rock-hewn churches for which Lalibela is most famous; crafted beautifully from one single red volcanic rock during the ultimate period of masonry skills. Some are below ground only reached via narrow tunnels and small steps.
King Lalibela is said to have had the vision to create these churches with designs given to him by an angel. The final church to be hewn and possibly the most beautiful of all is St. Georges, which is carved in the shape of a cross. Late in the afternoon, you can enjoy the surrounding breathtaking scenery and in the evening partake in a traditional Tej ( homemade local honey wine) taste experience for which Lalibela is famous.
Day 3: Fly back to Addis Ababa
After breakfast transfer to the airport and fly back to Addis. In the afternoon you will have leisure time and shopping. Late in the evening have a farewell dinner at one of the traditional restaurant then drive to the airport for flight back home.

Day 1: Addis Ababa
Arrive in Mombasa in the afternoon, Meet and greet at Sarova Whitesands airport desk arrive at Bole international airport and be met and assisted by ET-holidays representative. On your arrival in Arbaminch, you will directly drive to Dorze Village, 42km northwest of Arbaminch at about 3000m above sea level. Dorze people are famous for their unique elephant face houses built from bamboo tree, Unique dancing, traditional weaving, and the authentic lifestyle.
Day 3: Boat trip on Lake Chamo
Morning you will visit the ‘crocodile market’ on Lake Chamo. This will be a great experience where you will see the Hippos, crocodiles and plenty of aquatic birds side by side. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking. After lunch enjoy at the magnificent resort and admire the sunset over Lake Abaya and Chamo.
Day 4: Arbaminch – Addis Ababa
Morning at leisure until check out then you will be transferred to the airport for flight back to Addis Ababa: The rest of the day is leisure. Day 2: Excursion to Debrelibanos
After Early breakfast, we leave Addis on the Gojjam road over the Entoto Mountains passing through the Sululta Plains to the monastery of Debre Libanos. Debre Libanos is one of Ethiopia’s most reputed Orthodox monastic enclaves. Founded in the 13th century by Abune Teklehaymanot. The church with its magnificent murals it is surrounded by stunning and overwhelming scenery. The monastery complex sits on a terrace between a cliff and the gorge of one of the tributaries of the Abbay Rifer (the Blue Nile). In the afternoon drive back to Addis and continue to Debrezeit.

Day 2: Drive to Lake Wonchi
After breakfast we will pick you up at the lobby of the hotel then we will drive to Lake Wonchi. Wonchi Crater Lake is the beautiful legacy of a once-powerful volcano which is located on the mountain range between the towns of Ambo and Woliso. This beautiful lake is situated at an altitude of about 3000m above sea level. Wonchi contains hot springs and waterfalls with breathtaking valleys and stunning scenery. On the island, there is an ancient monastery named Cherkos.
Besides all this, Wonchi is the home of wonderful and indigenous forest reserves. Wonchi is truly regarded as a paradise for trekkers!
